HEALTHY DIETS FOR CHILDREN
Jamie Oliver's television programme on school dinners has pointed out how important it is for our children to get a well balanced diet as processed foods are becoming the 'norm'However I know of schools in my area who have healthy tuckshops, are eco-friendly and also have water fountains or bottled water.Diabetes and osteoporosis could be facing the children at a younger age if processed food and fizzy drinks are allowed to be eaten at the rate they are now. A lack of nutrients in the diet can be due to 'fast food'.Trials have shown that multivitamins and minerals have dramatic gains in certain IQ in 20% of children tested. The results of the Durham Trial state that 40% of children could benefit from Essential Fatty Acids. This was found in reading age and numeracy. EFA's are seriously lacking in modern diets and deficiences are thought to be common. A new trial in England has also had dramatic results in reading, spelling age, handwriting and concentration. More to follow!
IF YOU OR YOUR SCHOOL WOULD LIKE ANY ADVICE OR INFORMATION ON EFA's OR THE SUPPLEMENTS USED IN THE VARIOUS TRIALS PLEASE CONTACT NATURE'S WAY-FIFE.

TheJan de Vries Talk at The Craws Nest hotel in Anstruther was a huge success.
The well-known naturopath andauthor spoke to a full house and there was tremendous feedback afterwards. Some of the comments were "he was so easy to listen to and made everything understandable" - "a great man with no airs or graces". He also asked that the proceeds be donated to local charities. The charity chosen by ENFACT was the Craw's Nest Wheelchair Appeal and the amount - £1000!!
Well done the East Neuk and surrounding areas.
